better way to spend the summit... drawing stuff.

wrapping up from the G20 summit, i thought i would protest the protests, (dont get me started...) but watching the coverage from my pad and drawing pin up girls, briscoe, mccoy and riot cops while having fudgesicles seemed like a better idea.
enjoy!

evolution of a sketch

evolution of a sketchadoodle. I wanted to do an atmospheric-haunty type of an illust.
See here how my brain goes from evil scarecrow to literary fable in mere moments!

Perhaps a wolf in the foreground is in order, but the spooky forest is fun nonetheless.

little smoke meets big smoke

After years of planning and wishing and hoping and procrastination, I have landed smack dab in the middle of the mix. Relatively painless move, although I do not recommend moving a two bedroom studio apartment bag by bag via go train. it took about 4 weeks to do. Now surrounded by the most interesting faces that a life drawing course could never offer, take that over-charging burlington art gallery! Studio now located deep within the mist of the downtown core... "way till they get a load of me.." - joker. the above is page one of my toronto sketchbook. the stars: my neighbors.
